Ariège is a department of the Pyrenees, backed by Spain and Andorra, which has preserved its traditions and its authenticity in a still preserved nature. A large part of its territory has been a Regional Natural Park since 2009. The variety of flora and fauna is exceptional and the transhumance of sheep, cows and Merens horses still active.
